One of the earliest and prominent inventions of humankind is believed to be a wheel. And our world has never looked back from then on. We made vehicles, and we travelled and travelled. One amazing vehicle that wheels gave us is a bicycle. It is not only good for human health but is also good for the health of our nature and environment.

World Bicycle Day is celebrated on the 3rd of June every year since 2018 as designated by the UN. This day is taken as an opportunity to spread awareness about the many benefits of cycling.

Along with the Agastya International School , come together and uphold this day .

The International Day for Biological Diversity

The International Day for Biological Diversity

The International Day for Biological Diversity is celebrated each year on 22 May, a date in our Calendar dedicated to raising global awareness about the importance of protecting biological resources and the global biodiversity that shapes our environment — not only the various species of plants, animals and micro-organisms around us, but also the genetic diversity of each of them, as well as the great variety of ecosystems that make up our planet.

Only once we realise that we are part of the solution , we will be able to put a stop to the damage that we are causing to nature.

Therefore, We at Agastya International School, hold environmentally conscious activities at its core.

International Museum Day 2021

International Museum Day 2021

Museums play an important part in the development of society. They enlighten us with the numerous unknowns and take us to places we have never been before.

A museum describes the journey of a nation from prehistory to modernity by displaying the enriched historical artefacts such as tools, weapons, clothes and jewellery. Hence, to mark the importance of the museums, every year International Museum Day is observed on May 18, every year.

International Museum Day 2021: The theme for the year is:“The Future of Museums: Recover and Reimagine”

Agastians, as a community uphold the importance of the day and dedicate the year to rediscovering and reimagining.

World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD)

World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD)

The purpose of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) is to help raise awareness of the possibilities that the use of Internet and other information and communication technologies (ICT) can bring to societies and economies, as well as of ways to bridge the digital divide.

17 May marks the anniversary of the signing of the first International Telegraph Convention and the creation of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). On November 2006, the ITU , in a Conference in Antalya, Turkey, decided to celebrate both events on 17 May as World Telecommunication and Information Society Day. The updated Resolution 68 invites Member States and Sector Members to celebrate the day annually by organizing appropriate national programmes with a view to stimulate reflection and exchange of ideas on the theme adopted by the Council.

Agastians support all forms of technology and growth.
